1. Syllabus: 16 lectures, of 1.5 hours in duration, in each subject

   1. Algebra I [Linear Algebra & Group Theory]:

      1. Ch6, 7, 8, 9 of Artin's Algebra

   2. Analysis I [Complex Analysis]:

      1. Ch2, 3, 4 of Stein & Shakarchi's Complex Analysis

   3. Topology I [Point Set Topology & Quotient Spaces]:N.B. In each of the three topics, some emphasis will be given to some deeper concepts  outside the prescribed syllabus to make them more interesting to the need of research scholars

      1. Ch1-7 of Simmon's Introduction to Topology and Modern Analysis and Ch 4 (Identification Spaces) of Armstrong’s Basic Topology

Timetable:
