AFS-II - Annual Foundation School - II (2021)

Speakers and Syllabus


The target audience are research scholars in their first or second year of Ph.D. in any university or research institute.

There will be 2 hours of lectures and 1 hour of tutorial every day from Monday to Saturday, over 6 weeks. Sundays will be kept available for make-up sessions in case of any internet or other issues.
Applicants for AFS-II should already be familiar with the syllabus of the AFS-I schools, which is available at https://www.atmschools.org/sites/default/files/syllabus_AFS_programmes_2016.pdf

 

Number of Participants: 60 participants will be selected.
Mode of Instruction: Lectures and tutorials will be conducted online on a platform such as Zoom or MS Teams. Lectures will be recorded and made available for viewing to the participants. If any participants miss a lecture or a part thereof due to internet issues, they should view its recording before attending the following lecture. Google Classroom will be used to coordinate the program, share material, and enable further discussions between participants, tutors and instructors.
