The theory of Toric Varieties is a very fertile ground in algebraic geometry. One of the remarkable properties of this kind of variety is that you can create non-trivial examples and do computations on them with ease. So learning toric varieties is an enriching experience. In this workshop, we will learn about the fundamentals of toric varieties. We expect this workshop will greatly help the PhD and advanced master’s students in algebraic geometry.
