The instructional school for teachers on the Mathematical Foundation for Data Science and Machine Learning using MATLAB aims to equip educators with a deep understanding of the key mathematical concepts essential for teaching data science and machine learning effectively. The school covers fundamental topics such as linear algebra, numerical linear algebra, optimization methods in ML, advanced optimization methods in ML, probability theory, and statistical methods for data science, with a focus on their practical applications in data analysis and machine learning algorithm development. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on activities, teachers will learn how to integrate these mathematical principles into their curricula, fostering a comprehensive understanding among students. By empowering educators with these tools, the school seeks to enhance the teaching of data science and machine learning, preparing students for the demands of an increasingly data-driven world.

Please note that IST is meant only for the outstation college teachers. The lectures in this school covers specific topics which are relevant for the teachers' classroom instructions. The usual length of the IST is 6/12 days. An important component of this programme is the discussion hour during which the teachers will have opportunities to get their doubts cleared.

From Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, Chhattisgarh (15 KM): IIIT Naya Raipur campus can be reached by any authorized or prepaid taxi available at Airport (nearly 30 mins). The charges may be approximately Rs. 550/-.
