Combinatorics is primarily concerned with counting, both as a means and an end in obtaining results and certain properties of finite structures. It is closely related to many areas of mathematics and has many applications ranging from logic to statistical physics and from evolutionary biology to computer science. Combinatorial problems arise in many areas of pure mathematics, notably in algebra, probability theory, topology and geometry.
Graph theory is one of the oldest and most accessible parts of combinatorics. Graph theory has always attracted the attention of mathematicians and has a glorious history. The subject continues to evolve rapidly under the growing interest evinced by mathematicians, scientists and engineers in the past few decades in the powerful combinatorial methods, which have been put to use in diverse and often unexpected applications in sincere and engineering and technology.
This workshop will focus on the topics like Ramsey theory, Matchings in graphs.   We assume that the participants are familiar with the basic concepts of combinatorics and graph theory. We will develop Ramsey theory, Graph spectra and distance based characterizations of some graph classes, and matchings in graphs, percolation and optimal transport, Applications of group actions and Distance matrices of graphs.
