Ordinary differential equations (ODE) are used to mathematically formulate many physical phenomena, for example arising in population dynamics, neural networks etc. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce theory and application of ordinary and advanced differential equations to the participants. In the first week participants will be introduced to the basic tools required to understand theory and application of ordinary differential equations. Then, we move to the theory which is very important for the applications such as Lyapunov functional, Hartman-Grobman theorem. The second week will be more focused on topics related to advanced differential equations and last week lectures will be on application to mathematical modeling and basic introduction to matlab.
