The aim of this workshop is to show how mathematics is applied in real life situations. Basics of numerical analysis, statistics and probability and number theory will be developed and by means of examples and exercises its beauty and importance will be demonstrated. Emphasis will be given on problem solving. The sessions will be interactive. The lectures and tutorial in some of the above topics may trigger the minds of the teachers to learn further. Participants are expected to work hard during the course of the programme.
