Speakers and Syllabus
Syllabus:
Week 1: (quick revision of standard material)
Complex differentiation, local Cauchy theorem, power series representation, open mapping theorem, maximum modulus theorem, global Cauchy theorem and the calculus of residues.
Week 2:
The Schwarz lemma, automorphisms of the disc, Phragmen-Lindelof theorem, Runge's theorem, Mittag-Leffler theorem and the Riemann Mapping theorem, time permitting Picard's theorem
